An excerpt from Tonya’s Letter to the HCMS Community:
I am deeply honored and excited to join the Hill Country Montessori School community as Head of School in July 2026. From my first visit, I was inspired by HCMS’s authentic, child-centered approach to learning and the way its values are lived each day by students, educators, and families. I believe profoundly in the transformative power of Montessori education and in the strength that comes from true partnership between parents, faculty, and trustees. I look forward to building on the School’s strong foundation, strengthening its position as a premier educational institution in the Boerne area, and sharing the remarkable work happening in HCMS classrooms with the wider community. My husband and I are grateful to call this area home, and I am eager to listen, learn, and serve as we thoughtfully steward HCMS into its next chapter—together.
