Coral D. Martínez-Cotto has joined the Good Shepherd Catholic School community as the new Principal

We are delighted to share that Coral D. Martínez-Cotto has joined the Good Shepherd Catholic School community as their new Principal.
With over two decades of experience in education, academic leadership, and faith-based service, Mrs. Martínez brings a deep commitment to nurturing both the minds and hearts of our students.

Born in Puerto Rico and proudly bilingual, Principal Martínez is a passionate educator who believes in servant leadership and the transformative power of community . Her educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that each child is a unique gift from God — and that through love , collaboration , and faith , we help them reach their full potential.

Inspired by the words of St. Francis of Assisi — “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace” — she leads with compassion, purpose, and a strong desire to form joyful , faithful disciples of Christ.

We welcome her with open arms and hearts filled with hope for all that God will do through her leadership.
Welcome home, Principal Martínez!
May the Holy Spirit guide and bless you as you begin this new chapter in your mission of Catholic education.
