Nestled in Austin’s Cherrywood neighborhood, the school’s outdoor space invites exploration at every turn. Children move from a rain-fed fountain and butterfly garden into a natural landscape complete with a winding creek, climbing logs, shaded pergolas, and native plants. It is a place where curiosity leads to learning.
Position
St. George’s Episcopal School seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of School to guide the preschool through an exciting period of growth and transformation. The next Head will oversee a vibrant early childhood program that includes three components: Early Birds, the School Day, and Fun Zone, while supporting a dedicated team across seven classrooms. The Head will steward an annual budget of approximately $1.2 million, ensure best practices in early childhood education, and play a leading role in shaping the School’s future in partnership with the church and Board of Trustees.
