With 41 years of experience in independent school education, Steve Blanchard brings a wealth of experience as a progressive and astute leader. Steve has served in several headships, including head of school for Augusta Preparatory Day School, Porter-Gaud School, and St. Andrew's Episcopal School.
He led advancement and development efforts for All Saints Academy and Wasatch Academy and served as interim head for Rancho Solano, The Khabele School (now called Headwaters School) and New Garden Friends School.
A skilled consensus builder and problem solver, Steve led several successful fund raising efforts and was instrumental in building global education and dual diploma programs in China. He began his career with Greenhill School in Dallas, Texas, in 1971 and has since worked in almost every facet within independent school education.
Steve was appointed to the National Association of Independent Schools Admissions Committee and serves as a member of the Country Day Headmasters Association.
