CONTRACT AGREEMENT

As agent for the school named above, I enroll the school as a member in The Education Group, and thereby accept the following terms of membership in return for its placement services:

To remit a membership fee of $800, payable to The Education Group, reflecting membership for September 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009.
To provide descriptive and contact information for each opening my school wishes to list with The Education Group.
To review all submitted candidates in a timely manner and communicate the school's interest or lack thereof.
To accept responsibility for verification of candidate credentials, understanding that The Education Group provides no information regarding the qualifications of individual candidates other than that presented or authorized by the candidate.
To agree not to distribute the names or files of candidates provided by The Education Group to any other institution or person, either in writing or in conversation.
To notify The Education Group immediately upon hiring a candidate first referred to me by this firm, should the candidate be hired during this year or during the subsequent two (2) years.
To pay a placement fee, upon hiring, of 8.5% of the candidate's first year contracted salary and an additional 3% of the first year's salary if compensation includes housing. (Please note: the non-member dee is 13.5%)
To pay a fee of 8.5%* of the partial year's contract should the candidate be hired after the school year starts, and if the candidate returns for the following school year, to pay 8.5%* on the amount of contract that completes a full school year of employment. (*11.5% if compensation includes housing.)
To support The Education Group's practices of non-discrimination on the basis of race, sex, or religious orientation in its recruitment of candidates.
