Sarah Nelson
Director of Marketing and Administrative Services, Birmingham, AL

Sarah has deep roots, both professionally and personally, in independent schools. A graduate of Episcopal High School in Bellaire, TX, she continued her education at Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree. Having grown up in a Head of School family, she was a quick study at her first job with The Education Group. Her work here included school contact, publications, and our job fairs.

After several years at The Education Group, Sarah joined the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) as assistant to the Executive Director with work in school member recruitment and event planning. Part time work at The Hockaday School in Development preceded a family move to California. In CA, Sarah joined Sage Hill School as Assistant Director of Admissions.

Returning to The Education Group as our Director of Marketing and Administrative Services, Sarah will work closely with schools, extend our marketing efforts, spearhead our Leadership initiatives, and further our contacts with administrative candidates.
