Bertrand R. Hudnall, II

A undergraduate of Washington and Lee University, Bert received his M.Ed. with an emphasis on Guidance and Counseling from the University of Virginia. During his 32 years in education he has held positions of Head of the North Cross School in Roanoke, VA and Salem Academy in Winston-Salem, NC and the Director of Admissions and Institutional Relations at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA. Bert taught at the Darlington School in Rome, GA and Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg. He has been an officer of the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Principals of Schools for Girls, the Potomac and Chesapeake Association of College Admissions Counselors and the College Board's Southern Regional Advisory Committee. He is founder of The Next Step, a professional and personalized educational counseling service for students making college decisions.
