During this one-day workshop participants will hear from experienced school heads about their professional journeys. In addition, sessions will be devoted to:

• Making the decision to become a Head of School Presenting yourself as a candidate; knowing yourself and highlighting your strengths Navigating interactions with consultants, search committees and hiring schools Dealing with your own school community during your search Considering professional and personal factors in the transition for the Head and family
• Being a successful head in your first year
